T-Ball Fastpitch Bats
The first fastpitch bat should be feather-light and easy to control, and that's exactly what these deliver for tee and coach-pitch beginners.
How to choose: go by height and comfort - a young player should be able to hold the barrel out level without dropping it. When they move up, our full fastpitch bats range takes over.
A T-ball fastpitch bat is a short, very light softball bat made for young players hitting off a tee or soft toss. Its big drop (-12 or -13) makes it easy to swing, helping kids build good mechanics and confidence.
Fastpitch T-ball bats are designed for the bigger softball, while baseball T-ball bats are made for baseballs. Choose the bat that matches the ball your child’s league uses.
T-ball fastpitch bats are generally made for players around 4 to 7 years old. As they grow and start hitting pitched balls, they move up to a light youth fastpitch bat in drop -12 or -13.
Choose a bat your child can swing comfortably without the barrel dropping. When in doubt, go lighter and shorter. Our youth bat size chart shows the right length by age, height and weight.
