Baseball Bats
The right baseball bat starts with your league. High school and college hitters swing BBCOR (-3); competitive travel ball runs USSSA big-barrel bats; and most rec leagues require a USABat-stamped model. The youngest players start on T-ball and Junior Big Barrel bats, while wood-bat leagues reach for adult wood bats.
We carry bats players name-drop - the Rawlings Icon, the Easton Hype Fire and the Louisville Slugger Atlas - in alloy, composite and two-piece builds. Still deciding on drop or barrel? Our bat buying guide and the What's My Bat read make it simple.

Choosing the right baseball bat depends on the player’s height, weight, age, and league regulations. Youth players typically use lighter bats with larger barrel sizes, while older players may prefer heavier bats for more power. If you’re unsure, checking a bat sizing chart or contacting our team can help you find the right fit.
It's decided by your league, not preference: high school and college require BBCOR (-3), competitive travel ball runs USSSA big-barrel bats, and most recreational youth leagues need a USA (USABat) model.
Always check your league’s rules before choosing a bat.
Drop is the bat's length in inches minus its weight in ounces - a 30", 20 oz bat is a -10. A bigger drop means a lighter bat; use the bat buying guide to match drop to a player's strength.
The lifespan of a bat depends on usage, materials, and care. Aluminum bats can last several seasons if properly maintained. Composite bats are typically more delicate than aluminum bats. However, after a proper break-in period, they can become more responsive and may provide better performance. Wood bats may break sooner but are commonly used in training and competitive play.
Alloy is ready right out of the wrapper, holds up in the cold and costs less; composite needs a short break-in but delivers a bigger sweet spot and less sting on mishits. A fresh grip or tape from bat accessories fine-tunes the feel of either.
Unused bats in their original packaging may be returned according to our return policy. Please ensure the bat has not been used before requesting a return.
