Glove length is measured on the inside, from the base of the heel to the tip of the longest finger. For kids, size is based on age or hand size — from ages 13-15 (depending on hand size), players can start fitting into adult gloves, and length is then determined by field position. As a general rule, the further from home plate the position, the bigger the glove. Check our full Glove Buying Guide for size charts by position and age

The best method is to measure using arm length: extend your arm parallel to the ground, hold the bat's knob with your fingertips, and rest the barrel against your chest — if the bat is the right length, the end of the barrel should reach your sternum. As a general rule, junior players shouldn't jump more than 1 inch above their current bat length. Full details and charts are in our Bat Buying Guide.
