WBSC Fastpitch Bats
Playing under WBSC rules? These are the fastpitch bats approved for it - the standard for international and much of Canadian provincial play. Not sure which stamp your league runs? Our softball bat stamps guide sorts it out.
How to choose: after confirming the WBSC stamp, set your drop between -8 and -13 by strength, and choose balanced for speed or a light end-load for power.
A WBSC fastpitch bat is certified by the World Baseball Softball Confederation, the international governing body for softball. The WBSC stamp shows the bat meets international standards for sanctioned competition.
WBSC bats are required for international tournaments and are accepted by many national and provincial associations that follow WBSC rules. In Canada, requirements vary between associations and levels of play, so always confirm with your league or coach before buying.
WBSC is the international certification, while USA Softball (formerly ASA) and USSSA bats are certified by American organizations. Many fastpitch bats carry several stamps, so one bat can be legal in both. Check the taper of the bat for the logos your league requires.
Drop -13 and -12: younger players.
Drop -11: developing players stepping up.
Drop -10 and -9: competitive and elite hitters.
Our fastpitch bat size guide helps you find the right length and drop.
