Rawlings RSOCM315W Shut Out 31.5" Catcher's Fastpitch Mitt

Take control behind the plate with the Rawlings RSOCM315W Shut Out 31.5" Fastpitch Catcher's Mitt. Designed specifically for fastpitch players, this catcher's mitt combines a manageable 31.5-inch profile, full-grain leather, and an adjustable fit to provide developing catchers with the comfort and control needed for confident play.

The mitt is constructed with a quality full-grain leather shell, delivering a soft feel while maintaining the durability needed for regular practices and games. Its construction promotes a more game-ready feel, helping players get comfortable with the mitt without requiring an extensive break-in process.

Its 31.5-inch catcher-specific size offers a controlled profile well suited to developing fastpitch catchers. The deep pocket helps secure pitches after contact, providing dependable ball retention when receiving behind the plate.

The Pro H Web creates a structured receiving area that helps catchers frame pitches and control the softball. Combined with the deep pocket, it provides the stability needed to receive throws and keep the ball securely in the mitt.

Rawlings' Zero Shock palm padding helps reduce sting and absorb impact from repeated pitches. This additional protection is especially valuable behind the plate, where comfort can help catchers maintain confidence throughout practices and games.

The adjustable Velcro strap provides a snug, customizable fit around the wrist. Designed to accommodate smaller hands, the adjustable construction helps keep the mitt securely positioned while allowing players to maintain confident control.

A Pro Micro lining provides a comfortable interior feel, complementing the soft full-grain leather construction and helping make the mitt comfortable throughout extended innings.

With only 20% player break-in, most of the initial break-in is already completed. Players can begin using the mitt sooner while still having the opportunity to shape the pocket according to their preferred receiving style.

Finished in a distinctive White/Teal colorway, the RSOCM315W combines fastpitch-specific sizing, impact protection, and adjustable comfort in Rawlings' accessible Shut Out series.
