Rawlings RSO125W Shut Out 12.5" Fastpitch Glove

Take control at the corner with the Rawlings RSO125W Shut Out 12.5" First Base Fastpitch Glove. Designed for softball players who need a combination of reach, secure ball control, and comfortable fit, this Shut Out model provides a manageable feel for handling throws, ground balls, and defensive plays around first base.

The glove is constructed from quality full-grain leather, providing a soft feel that promotes a quicker break-in while delivering the durability needed throughout the season. Its full-grain leather shell is designed to become comfortable and responsive without sacrificing the dependable structure required at first base.

Its 12.5-inch size provides the additional reach first basemen need when stretching for throws or reaching for balls around the bag. The profile maintains a controlled feel, helping players handle difficult throws without making the glove unnecessarily cumbersome.

The Basket Web creates a secure, well-covered pocket designed to help scoop throws in the dirt and secure ground balls. Combined with the 12.5-inch profile, it provides the coverage and pocket control needed for confident play at first base.

Rawlings incorporates Zero Shock palm padding to help reduce the impact felt in the hand when receiving hard throws and line drives. This additional cushioning improves comfort during repeated catches and demanding defensive situations.

An improved Velcro pull-strap wrist provides an adjustable fit around the hand and wrist. Players can tighten or loosen the glove to achieve a secure, personalized feel, while the Pro Micro lining contributes to interior comfort.

With only 20% player break-in, much of the initial shaping is already completed, helping players get the glove onto the field sooner while still allowing them to personalize the pocket and closure.

Finished in a clean White/Teal colorway, the RSO125W combines position-specific reach, comfortable protection, and an adjustable fit for confident fastpitch play at first base.
