Rawlings R9SBCM33-24NMP R9 33" Catcher's Softball Mitt

Take control behind the plate with the Rawlings R9SBCM33-24NMP R9 33" Fastpitch Catcher's Mitt. Designed for softball catchers who want a combination of dependable pocket control, comfortable protection, and a more game-ready feel, this R9 model brings position-specific performance to every inning.

The mitt is built with a soft, durable all-leather shell made from quality full-grain leather. This construction provides the leather feel and structure needed behind the plate while remaining approachable for players who want a mitt that does not require an extensive break-in period.

Its 33-inch CM33SB catcher-specific pattern provides the receiving area and pocket shape needed to secure pitches and control the softball. The 33-inch profile gives catchers useful coverage behind the plate while maintaining the controlled feel required for consistent receiving.

Paired with the CM33SB pattern, the Pro H Web creates a structured pocket designed to help secure the softball. This combination supports the receiving, blocking, and ball-control demands of the catcher position.

A leather cushioned palm pad adds protection in the receiving area, helping reduce the impact felt when handling repeated pitches. This extra cushioning contributes to a more comfortable feel during practices and games.

The adjustable pull-strap back and adjustable wrist allow players to personalize the fit around the hand. This secure, adaptable construction helps keep the mitt comfortably positioned while providing the control needed behind the plate.

With only 20% player break-in, much of the initial break-in has already been completed. Players can get the mitt onto the field sooner while still having the opportunity to shape the pocket according to their preferred receiving style.

Finished in a classic Navy colorway, the R9SBCM33-24NMP combines a softball-specific catcher pattern, full-grain leather, and comfortable protective features in the versatile R9 Series.
