Shorts Junior

For summer camps and clinics, lightweight training shorts like the Under Armour Yard Boys’ Baseball Shorts or Easton M5 Mesh Youth Shorts keep kids cool and comfortable all day. Pack a youth shirt, youth socks and a pair of baseball pants for sliding drills. Shop all youth shorts.

Youth shorts usually come in YS to YXL, with an elastic or drawstring waist. Choose your child’s regular size, and use the drawstring for a secure fit. Once they outgrow YXL, they can move to men’s shorts or women’s shorts.

Most youth training shorts, like the Rawlings ColorSync Technical Short Youth, Mizuno Youth Comp Training Short and Victus Mesh Youth Short, work for both boys and girls.

Yes, for games. Training shorts are for practice, while padded sliding shorts go under baseball pants to protect the hips and thighs when sliding. Shop boys’ sliding shorts and girls’ sliding shorts.
